Role: Information System Architect

Minimum Qualifications
Requires any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to fifteen (15) years in fields utilizing
the required knowledge, skills and abilities and providing exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and
processing environments, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications
Fifteen (15) or more years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and
deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations, with three (3)
years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and
influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business re-engineering principles and
processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis
or a related field.
Special Requirements
All employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to
short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.
