Job description:
We are looking for an SAP QM Architect with 10–20 years of
consulting experience and strong expertise in SAP QM and PP
configuration. The candidate should be capable of leading SAP QM
implementations and providing ongoing support across quality processes.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or automotive industries would be an
added advantage.
The role requires solid hands-on experience with inspection
types—especially Origin 03 and 04—along with strong integration
knowledge in QM–MM and PP–QM. Familiarity with complex assembly
manufacturing and D8 problem-solving processes is preferred. Exposure to
Fiori and S/4HANA environments is beneficial.
The candidate must be skilled in requirement gathering, writing
functional specifications, guiding ABAP developers, and performing
business-focused testing. They should be able to convert business
requirements into structured business processes and break them down into
actionable development items. Experience with production order scrap,
inline rework, and rework-from-stock scenarios will be an advantage.
A background of 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects in
Production Planning and Quality Management is preferred. Hands-on
experience in quality notifications, quality inspections, procurement
inspection (Origin 01), and business workflows related to QM is
important. Experience working with QM notification workflows is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Material Master, BOM, Routing, serialization,
and batch management is required. The ideal candidate will be
results-driven, adaptable, flexible, and capable of demonstrating a
strong “can-do” attitude in complex project environments.
