Location: Primarily remote, 1-2 days a month onsite in Reston, VA. Strong preference for candidates within DMV+WV area. Stellar candidates who are outside the DMV area may be considered (EST/CST)

 

Summary: looking for a ServiceNow Business Consultant to oversee the enterprise-wide implementation of ServiceNow. This resource will lead and provide strategic oversight for a new ServiceNow implementation, guiding it from early deployment through long-term maintenance and enhancement. The consultant will ensure alignment with industry standards, manage vendor relationship with the ServiceNow implementation vendor making sure the implementation aligns with the business needs, and drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders. This includes interpreting business objectives to develop a roadmap, influencing decision-making, escalating issues when needed, and maintaining implementation integrity. The role requires working closely with sponsors and being supported by project managers and technical SMEs to ensure successful delivery.


Need to Close:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ownership and implementation (Prefer experience on implementation of ServiceNow from scratch OR experience in expanding ServiceNow from a small offering to enterprise-wide offering.
  • Experience working with internal business teams and implementing vendor to develop roadmap or strategic plan and drive decision making, escalate, or push back demands.
  • Strong ITIL background with deep understanding of ITSM best practices
  • Experience in integrating multiple instances of ServiceNow and understanding web service architecture


Nice to have:

  • Experience on implementation of ServiceNow from scratch
  • Prior experience in implementing ServiceNow ITSM or Demand Management module.
  • ServiceNow CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist)
