Overview:

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Alpharetta, GA. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on a strategic consolidation initiative, modernizing DevOps practices and tooling across thousands of applications.

You will play a key role in supporting a large-scale CI/CD pipeline migration to GitHub Actions, helping standardize and templatize workflows to enhance maintainability and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and migrate CI/CD pipelines from legacy tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Shell Scripts) to GitHub Actions.
• Standardize and templatize workflows for maintainability.
• Orchestrate pipelines across diverse applications and technology stacks.
• Integrate CI/CD with containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure all automation aligns with compliance and audit requirements.
• Collaborate across DevOps, architecture, and development teams to drive adoption and resolve migration blockers.

Requirements:

• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using:
• GitHub Actions
• Jenkins
• Azure DevOps
• Expertise with version control systems:
• GitHub
• SVN (Apache Subversion)
• Experience with:
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and packaging tools (Maven, Gradle, NPM, Yarn)
• Scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Python)
• Familiarity with:
• Linux environments
• Azure/Azure DevOps
• JFrog Artifactory
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage migrations across diverse codebases and legacy workflows.
