Location: Madison Ave, NY & Jersey City, NJ (4 days onsite – Local candidates ONLY)

Education: Bachelor’s or higher from a U.S.-accredited college

LinkedIn: Profile with photo, created before 2021, recent financial/banking client experience

Skills Requirements:

• 10+ years in IT services
• 8+ years Oracle DBA experience
• Strong knowledge of ITIL
• 3+ years client-facing roles
• Excellent documentation in MS SharePoint 2010/2013

Mandatory Skills:

• Oracle DBA in large/critical environments
• Performance tuning (server & query level)
• OEM, AWR Reports, TKProf
• Oracle internals & partitioning
• Scripting: PL/SQL, Shell
• RAC experience
• Automation experience

Good to Have:

• Oracle Golden Gate
• OUD, Database Vault, Encryption (at rest/in transit)

Certifications:

• Oracle Certifications (preferred)

Role Responsibilities:

• Tune Oracle DBs with client/app teams (US/UK)
• Independently analyze and solve DB issues
• Proactively tune DBs, own service improvements
• Collaborate with app teams (not just DB team)
• Change implementation during UK/US hours/weekends
• Ensure quality, compliance, and documentation
• Support production issues, drive IT projects
