Job Description

The SAP Treasury SME will support PTC’s S/4HANA migration and ongoing ECC operations across Finance, Treasury, Banking, and Investment functions. The role involves configuration, testing, documentation, integration, and end-to-end process support across multiple finance-related components.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and primary IT point-of-contact for SAP Finance, Treasury, Banking during S/4HANA migration.
• Collaborate with System Integrator, internal IT, and Finance teams for configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Understand current ECC processes and map them to S/4HANA To-Be processes.
• Support testing cycles: SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation for master and transactional data.
• Review, develop, and update functional/technical design documents and training materials.
• Support financial integrations, reporting, month-end and year-end processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, support change management, and ensure documentation of enhancements.
• Participate in reporting enhancement, analytics, and project tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years configuring/supporting SAP ECC 6.0 & S/4HANA Treasury & Banking.
• 5+ years configuring Treasury for bonds, derivatives, money market sweeps & FI integration.
• 5+ years processing lockbox files & electronic bank statements (EBS).
• 2+ full-cycle implementations of SAP Banking & Treasury.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Finance, Treasury, Banking processes.
• Experience developing functional/technical design documents, test cases, job aids, and training materials.
• Experience with month-end/year-end Treasury & Banking processes in ECC & S/4HANA.
• Experience with reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud preferred.

Desired Skills

• Integration experience between SAP ECC/S4 and external systems/banks.
• Background job scheduling, payment postings (ACH, checks, RTP, digital payments).
• Experience with ServiceNow & Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience with brownfield migration ECC ? S/4HANA, including Fiori transition.
• Strong testing experience: scenario creation, execution, validation.
• Knowledge of public-sector Treasury/Finance regulations.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• SAP TRM Certification highly preferred.

Engagement Details

• Primarily remote; onsite presence required for key phases (PI planning, SIT/UAT, Go-Live, hypercare).
• Must pick up PTC-issued equipment in person (no reimbursement).
• Must be able to reach Middletown, PA within 3 hours if needed.
• Must follow PTC IT standards, use camera during meetings, and maintain professional appearance.
• Background checks (PA ePATCH & national) required.
