Role: Technical Lead/Sr. Developer (Unix, COBOL, SQL)

Location: Birmingham, Alabama (Remote - willingness to travel when required.)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience 8-10 years

Note: We need someone having experience in Micro Focus COBOL, UNIX/AIX/LIUNX, Oracle/SQL Server along with Life and Annuity PAS experience.

L&A product development experience

Key Skills:

• Technical Leadership, Client Relations
• Proficient in Unix shell scripting
• Advanced knowledge of COBOL programming
• Strong SQL database management and query skills
• Experience in applying patches and software remediation

Activities:

• Analyze identified policy issues and determine the necessary code changes.
• Develop and apply patches to the policies using COBOL and Unix scripts.
• Write and execute SQL queries to update and correct policy data.
• Collaborate with the SME to ensure changes are accurate and meet business requirements.
• Document the changes made and provide regular progress updates to the team.
