This position will serve as a reporting developer for the State of Maine’s PRISM project, a Workday-based application. The State of Maine’s PRISM project is a statewide effort in the final stages of implementation and requires a talented resource to develop and modify reports to meet operational requirements.
Work with the Reporting Lead and Reporting BA to prioritize reports for development and/or editing.
Rapidly understand requirements to develop and test reports for external clients.
Work with agency subject matter experts to elicit reporting requirements
Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Troubleshoot report-related issues and resolve in a timely manner
Analyze and optimize report performance
Maintain documentation to satisfy internal/external controls
Develop and/or Edit identified required reports
Utilize project tools, such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint to track work progress associated with the reporting workstream.
Test reports against requirements
Coordinate unit acceptance and end-to-end testing of reports with client functional SMEs
Assist with knowledge transfer to functional teams, as needed.
Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision of Team Lead.
Provide status of work to Team Lead.
Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team.
Generally aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate.
Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team.
Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Identify and track issues, risks and action items.
Plan all required process steps.
Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan.
