Role: Junior Data Engineer

Hybrid in Hartford, CT Locals only

GC and USC only

SKILL SET:

• 2+ years of professional experience in IT.         
• Ab Initio and Data Warehousing in parallel processing environment required.
• Strong Unix Shell scripting desired. IBM DB2 database also preferred.
• Candidate must have solid analytical and software development skills
• Strong communications and team skills
• Technical Skills Desired: * Ab Initio * SQL * DB2 * GCP BQ Console*
• Strong communication and ability to work effectively in a matrixed, demanding environment

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

* Good judgment * Utilizes accepted methodology & tools in a disciplined manner * Knowledge of the business area's functions and systems, and system and applications program development technological alternatives

• Independently performing ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and on-call support tasks for existing systems.
• Knowledge of IBM DB2 and TIDAL is a plus.
