Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced .NET developer to lead the migration of the TXMAP mobile application codebase from Xamarin to .NET MAUI. This role is critical to ensuring continued support and functionality of the Department’s TXMAP iOS and Android apps. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET technologies and a solid understanding of cross-platform mobile development.

Responsibilities:

·Lead the technical effort to transition the TXMAP codebase from .NET Xamarin to .NET MAUI.

·Ensure compatibility and performance of the TXMAP mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

·Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement and test migrated features.

·Identify and address any migration-related challenges or limitations.

·Provide technical guidance and documentation throughout the migration process.

·Maintain code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications.

Minimum Requirements:

·12 years of experience with the .NET platform.

·8 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.

·1 year of experience in mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

·5 years of experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite, especially JIRA.

·2 years of experience migrating applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.

·2 years of experience working with State of Texas applications.
