Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA ( Onsite)

Mode: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Mainframe COBOL Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our mainframe applications. You will work on legacy systems to ensure smooth business operations and help with modernization efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain COBOL programs based on business requirements
• Support existing mainframe systems to ensure stability and performance
• Perform unit testing and system testing
• Document program logic, workflows, and procedures
• Participate in system upgrades or integration with newer technologies
• Ensure code follows best practices and security standards

Skills Required:

• Experience in COBOL programming (Enterprise COBOL preferred)
• Knowledge of IBM System Z and TPF environment
• Familiarity with JCL, DB2, and VSAM
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
