Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with strong expertise in big data technologies, ETL development, and data integration to support our growing data infrastructure. This 6-month contract role in Owings Mills, MD requires a candidate with a solid foundation in Informatica PowerCenterApache SparkPython, and cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange CDC tools.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions while ensuring high data quality and performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot existing workflows, perform gap analysis, and fix performance bottlenecks.
  • Document ETL mappings, sessions, workflows, and design decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Handle tickets, perform root cause analysis, and support production issues in an Agile / POD-based environment.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in big data and distributed computing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PySparkApache Spark, and Python.
  • Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases such as DB2PostgreSQLSnowflake, etc.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL workflow design, and data pipeline performance tuning.
  • Experience with workflow schedulers like Apache Airflow.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-based data platforms and services.
  • Familiarity with DevOpsCI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
