Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Network Security Penetration Tester to join our team for a remote contract role. This position is critical in identifying vulnerabilities and enhancing the security posture of our mobile network infrastructure. The initial contract duration is 10 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on mobile networks, applications, and related infrastructure.
• Identify, analyze, and exploit security vulnerabilities in mobile network environments.
• Develop and execute security testing plans, including the use of automated and manual testing tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and improve security controls.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of testing findings, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies related to mobile networks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security best practices and policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in penetration testing, with a focus on mobile networks and applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile network protocols, architecture, and security frameworks.
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, and similar.
• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten) and experience in mitigating them.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple testing engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as OSCP, OSWP, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud-based mobile network environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to mobile networks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
