Role :: OpenText Exstream developer

Location :: Dallas - Texas(Preferred) Denver - Colorado(day one onsite)

Duration :: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, test, and maintain document templates using OpenText Exstream (versions like 9.x, 16.x, or 20.x+).

·        Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

·        Develop and optimize communication workflows for batch and on-demand document processing.

·        Integrate Exstream solutions with other systems (e.g., CRM, data sources, output management systems).

·        Troubleshoot and resolve template or output issues in a timely manner.

·        Support version upgrades and migration of templates from legacy platforms to modern Exstream environments.

·        Ensure compliance with company branding and regulatory standards across all communications.

·        Document development processes and maintain change logs.

Required Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

·        3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream development.

·        Proficient in Exstream Design Manager, StoryTeller, Messagepoint, or Empower Editor.

·        Strong experience with data files (XML, JSON, CSV), scripting, and variable data logic.

·        Knowledge of postal standards, PDF generation, and multi-channel output.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
