Role: SQL DBA

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to handle installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, and cloud migration of SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and managing multiple systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure SQL Server databases.
• Perform regular maintenance, backups, and recovery.
• Monitor and tune database performance.
• Migrate on-premise databases to cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions.
• Manage database changes using Git and version control tools.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience with SQL Server (2008 R2–2019)
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Cloud migration (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Backup and disaster recovery planning
• Git and version control systems
• Ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of MySQL is a plus
