Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in ServiceNow ITSM to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of implementing and managing IT Service Management solutions using ServiceNow. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that enhance IT Service Management processes using ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and optimize existing ServiceNow applications and workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to ensure the organization leverages the platform effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow development tools, including ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM and ITBM modules.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow ITSM.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or similar certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
