Mid-Level SQL Server Developer

Location: NYC, NY – 3-4 days Onsite - Candidate MUST BE LOCAL TO NYC AREA with Local DL

Visa : GC/USC Only

Duration:- 6+Months (C2H)- candidate must be comfortable to convert full time after contract

Note:- They may consider someone with a masters from a US University- BUT they have to be perfect have everything and EXCELLENT Communication skills do not send please if that is not the case.

 Must Have:-

• Must have 5 + Years of exp in Strong Investment Banking and Financial Service experience is a MUST including in recent and
• Not a Job hopper and past Project should be longer duration like 2 to 3 Years
• LinkedIn with photo is must
• With AWS Redshift & BI Experience
• SQL Server Developer with AWS Redshift & BI Experience

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and related AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.).
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar).
• Proficiency in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large datasets.
• Strong experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Amazon Quick Sight.
• Understanding of data warehouse design and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).
• Knowledge of cloud security and best practices for data management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud data migration from SQL Server to AWS Redshift covered by a BI component
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with big data tools like Athena, EMR, or Redshift Spectrum.
• AWS certification is a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Data Analytics Specialty).
