Lead Data Engineer- Oracle/SQL/Snowflake || F2F Interview
In-person Onsite interview Hartford, CT REQUIRED
JOB DESCRIPTION:
(MUST SHOW PROOF LIVING within driving distance of Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC offices.
- · Need 5-8 years as a LEAD with 50% Hands-on in the following:
- · Strong Oracle PL/SQL a MUST, and Production Support, maintenance, and enhancements at a Senior level is required!
- · Solid experience in stored procedures and triggers, and performance issue break-fix
- · Oracle Legacy work is 70% and AWS cloud work is 30% (Snowflake, Snowpipe, SnowSQL, building data hub on cloud)
- · Legacy code will be moved to the cloud in the next 6-12 months.
- · Snowflake experience is expected, and basic Snowflake querying skills are necessary, not nec. SME-level expertise.
- · Demonstrated experience on leading end to end Delivery of quality data in an ETL (Informatica IDMC or Talend or similar enterprise environment)
- · Overall 8-10+ years in the data space required
Must have :-
- Strong knowledge of Legacy tech stack – Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Autosys, Hadoop, stored procedures, Shell scripting etc
- Experience with Snowflake cloud data platform including hands-on experience with snowflake utilities like Snow SQL, Snow pipe
- Experienced in DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Udeploy etc
What type of development will this contractor be doing? (Back end, front end, full stack?) and what will they be responsible for developing?
- Back End – primarily using Oracle, snowflake
What type of application will they be developing? Will this contractor primarily be working on new development or maintaining the current environment?
- Maintaining/Supporting the current CL env/applications. And working on any new enhancements on them
Will this contractor be testing the application/software they are developing?
Yes, Integration testing, supporting UAT on the delivery
What programming languages do you want this contractor to have experience with? (How many years of experience with each language)
- Experience in Java Script, Python would be an advantage
