Position: SAP BTP Development Lead

Locations: Vernon Hills, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Required Experience:

• Expertise in SAP BTP services (CAP, UI5, HANA Cloud).
• 12+ years of ABAP development experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role within SAP technical areas.
• Strong hands-on skills in SAP UI5/Fiori, Node.js, and Java.
• Proficiency in integration technologies like OData, REST, and SOAP.
• Experience enforcing coding standards and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git).

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP Mobile Services, SAP Build Apps, and Workflow Management.
• Experience with Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and ABAP Environment architecture.
• SAP ABAP or SAP BTP certifications (optional).
• Research and prototyping of BTP advancements (e.g., machine learning, analytics).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP BTP and technical solutions.
• Manage and mentor the ABAP development team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design architecture for BTP solutions ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions through collaboration with functional teams.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support integration testing.
• Enforce documentation and best development practices.
• Continuously research and integrate new SAP BTP advancements.
