Summary:

Business Analyst Role duties:

• Interview the business SMEs to investigate questions from the project team
• Facilitate requirements gathering (REFINEMENTS)
• Capturing & documenting User Stories & Acceptance Criteria in our system of record.
• Elaborate acceptance criteria, test cases (verification, SIT, UAT)
• May serve as tester (validation, SIT, creation, and creation/facilitation of UAT case scenarios)
• Mentor team on analysis techniques and best practices as observed, guidance to PO/SM/PM
• Identifying and suggesting solutions, documenting mockups, and presenting to team and business
• Creating detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions
• May create required design documentation as needed
• Represent the stakeholders (keep things honest)
• Grooms backlog with the team/developers
• Quickly become a SME to our project
• Validate that the implementations in our Sprints match the project plan/requirements
• Keep all documentation stored and shared with the team in our designated online/cloud locations at all times
