Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in the financial services industry. This is a critical role that requires deep expertise in DevOps practices, with a strong understanding of the financial domain. The ideal candidate must be based in Austin, TX, and available for onsite work.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines.

· Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to automate and streamline operations and processes.

· Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability, and resolve issues proactively.

· Ensure system security through automated monitoring and alerting.

· Work closely with financial industry stakeholders to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and champion DevSecOps best practices.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum 12 years of experience in IT with a strong focus on DevOps engineering.

· Proven experience working within financial services or banking environments.

· Expertise in tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Git.

· Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

· Solid knowledge of networking, system administration (Linux/Windows), and security best practices.

· Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial institutions is a strong plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications in DevOps, AWS/Azure, or related technologies.

· Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.

· Background in scripting (Python, Shell, Bash) for automation.
