Position Overview:

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise network security solutions to address current and emerging security threats and compliance needs. This role requires expertise in network design, security protocols, and cloud security to ensure high availability and scalability across the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead security initiatives, collaborate with technical teams, and optimize network security technologies to protect against cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:

·    Develop, document, and enforce network security standards in alignment with PCI DSS, SOX, and internal policies.

·    Design and implement secure network architectures for cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and on-premises data centers.

·    Manage network segmentation and access control mechanisms to enhance security posture.

·    Oversee firewalls (Palo Alto Networks), including rule optimization, monitoring, and maintenance.

·    Configure and manage load balancers, ensuring performance optimization and issue resolution.

·    Conduct security audits and risk assessments to maintain regulatory compliance.

·    Implement automated security processes using scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).

·    Investigate security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and implement countermeasures.

·    Engage with network security vendors to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

·    Provide on-call and off-hours support for network technologies, including firewalls, load balancers, and cloud security infrastructures.


Minimum Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field.

·    4–7 years of experience designing and implementing secure network architectures in enterprise environments.

·    Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS).

·    Strong understanding of network security protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and cloud security best practices.

·    Hands-on experience with network security technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, CASB, SASE, SD-WAN).

·    Advanced knowledge of network segmentation, access control, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

·    Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).

·    Cloud security experience in at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI in a multi-cloud corporate environment.
